The final resting place of Maude Leckner is at the southwest corner of Fairlawn Cemetery, near the center of the section. Hers is a horizontal stone with the following text:

1879: Doc Holliday kills for the first time after a man shoots up Holliday's New Mexico saloon.
1889: The Eiffel Tower is inaugurated (opens May 6). At 300 m, the its height exceeds the previous tallest structure in the world by 130 m. Contemporary critics regard it as aesthetically displeasing.
1899: Felix Hoffmann patents aspirin and Bayer registers its name as a trademark.
1909: In Nicaragua 500 revolutionaries (including 2 Americans) are executed by order of dictator José Santos Zelaya. The United States responds by sending 2 warships.
1919: Battle of George Square: The British Army is called in to deal with riots and protests against high rents in Glasgow, Scotland.
1929: The longest bridge in the world at this time, the San Francisco Bay Toll-Bridge, opens.
1939: Major League Baseball's Lou Gehrig, the legendary Yankee first baseman known as "The Iron Horse", ends his 2,130 consecutive games played streak after contracting amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The record stands for 56 years before Cal Ripken, Jr. plays 2,131 consecutive games.
1949: U.S. President Harry S. Truman is inaugurated for his full term
1959: Disneyland Monorail System, the first daily operating monorail system in the Western Hemisphere, opens to the public in Anaheim, California.
1969: John Lennon & Yoko Ono are married at Gibraltar, and proceed to their honeymoon "Bed-In" for peace in Amsterdam.
1981: The Space Shuttle program: Space Shuttle Columbia with NASA astronauts John Young and Robert Crippen launches on the STS-1 mission, returning to Earth on April 14. It is the first time a manned reusable spacecraft has returned from orbit.
