This is the so-called 'Anzeiger Hochhaus' in Hannover, Germany, Niedersachsen. It is also presented on a German stamp.
The 'Anzeiger Hochhaus' is a 51 meters tall high building in Hannover which has been built in 1927–1928. It is listed in the German Monument Registers. It has been the headquarter of the local newspaper for decades. Nowerdays the building is the home of several radio and televion broadcasting stations.
In the foreground of the stamp is a part of one of the artifical bus stops in Hannover visible. It has been created by the Italien architect Alessandro Mendini.
