1907, fünf Jahre nach dem Tod König Alberts, wurde der König-Albert-Obelisk hier am Pillnitz-Moritzburger Weg (PM) aufgestellt.

Er ist 13 m hoch und wurde aus Lausitzer Granit errichtet. Der Obelisk trägt das Porträtmedaillon König Alberts (*1828, Regent ab 1873, †1902).

Die Reliefplastik stammt vom F. Oskar Lichtenberg und wurde von A. Milde Co. gegossen.

1907, five years after the death of King Albert, the King Albert obelisk was erected here at Pillnitz, Moritzburg way (PM).

It is 13 m high and was built of Lusatian granite. The obelisk bears the medallion portrait of King Albert (* 1828, regent from 1873, †1902).

The relief sculpture comes from Oscar F. Lichtenberg and was cast by A. Milde Co.
