Der sächsische Jakobsweg zweigt in Bautzen vom ökumenischen Pilgerweg auf der «Via Regia», einer alten Handelsstraße von Vilnius bzw. Kiew nach Santiago de Compostela, ab. Über Bischofswerda und Dresden verläuft er nach Freiberg. Weiter läuft er durch Chemnitz, Stollberg und Zwickau nach Hof. Eine Variante biegt allerdings in Königsbrück von der «Via Regia» ab und führt über Moritzburg, Coswig und Wilsdruff weiter nach Grumbach.
Diese Wegmarkierung zum sächsischen Jakobsweg befindet sich parallel zur Bundestraße 97 in Laußnitz und markiert die hier befindliche Teilstrecke von Königsbrück nach Hof (Frankenstraße). Die Jakobsmuschel ist nach unten gedreht, was den Wegverlauf "geradeaus" anzeigt.

This Way marker to the Saxon Way of St. James is located parallel to the federal highway 97 in Laußnitz. It marks the here located trail from Koenigsbrueck to Hof (Franconia Road). The scallop shell is rotated downward, meaning follow the Route straight.
