This Foucault pendulum was named "Principia" by artists Kristin Jones and Andrew Ginzel. It is designed with a golden crown, a 70 foot cable and a large 900 pound globe that swings continuously, 20 feet above the heads of convention center visitors.
It is listed in the Guiness Book of World's Records as the world's largest Foucault Pendulum. It was manufactured by Lathe Tool Works Automation Products, for the artists.
You can visit the pendulum without paying to attend events at the convention center, since it is located outside of the rented rooms. You can print a copy of the walking tour for the artwork, to make it easier to locate the pendulum: (
