This mural is painted on a brick wall that is part of the EconoLodge in Vancouver, Washington, and greets folks who are driving on East 6th Avenue. The mural is painted in just a few colors, but makes an impact and has a bright, cheery feeling. The scene that is painted is one that you might see right around the corner in downtown Vancouver; couples walking on the sidewalk, in front of storefronts, others sitting at a table, enjoying a conversation, a family (with a child, a kite, and a dog), out for a stroll and some entertainment. And thoroughout it all, lovely green trees. The entire mural is accomplished by using silhouettes of the subjects.
