Funeral Home History: excerpted from their About Us Page
The Wolfe family funeral services date back to 1918 when Bob's grandfather, Samuel W. Wolfe began serving families from his East Pittsburgh funeral home. This tradition continued on into the next generation as Robert E. Wolfe, Samuel's son, began serving families from his Wilkinsburg location in 1959. Tragically Robert E. Wolfe died in 1967, at that time his wife Lois continued the proud family tradition they had established in the Pittsburgh area.
Today, Bob Wolfe, a licensed Funeral Director since 1980, continues his family tradition of helping others. In 1994, Bob relocated the funeral home into the Forest Hills Community.
