This plaque dedicated August 17, 1979. For his effort in establishing on this site the first Strawberry Hill Summer Concert on June 25, 1978, featuring the St. John C. C. Tamburitzans, a group devoted to preserving the Croatian musical heritage in the City of Kansas City, Kansas. May 31, 2001"
