While out caching, I saw this little snapper in the middle of U.S. 52 southeast of Indianapolis. It was trying to get north across the road. How it didn't get hit was beyond me. I was able to stop and wait for a lull in traffic to help it into the grass. I don't know where it was coming from or going - there isn't any water around here that I know of. Well, I'm sure it knows more about that than I do. A close-up photo is in the gallery.
