The statues of a girl holding a puppy and a Scottish Terrier sit on a wall at the
Robertson Fountain in Orange, Virginia. Anne 'Russ' Robertson made a gift of the fountain to the Orange community in honor of her late husband and three daughters in 2007. The sculpture was part of the gift.
The girl wears glasses and shorts with plaid shirt and sits with legs folded under her. She holds a small puppy in her arms while a terrier stands next to her looking at the puppy. The statue of the girl might possibly be Lucy B., the only surviving daughter of Russ Robertson. A signature on the bottom of one of the little girl's shoes reads BRICKER 2007. This is most probably a reference to Robert E. Bricker, a sculptor who lists among his commissions:
- 2007 – Life-size portrait of Lucy B. Robertson, Public Plaza, Orange, Virginia.
