The Historical Marker on the building reads:

August Lundberg
Building

This building was erected in 1889 for August
Lundberg who was a dentist. He occupied
the upper floor of the west side of the building.
The bottom floor housed the Pastime
Billiards Hall. It was later occupied by
New Resort Saloon and Charlie Holberg's
Saloon. On October 15, 1945, Marshal Lon
Larson escorted Hyrum BeeBee from this
building. BeeBee, who according to some
sources was the infamous Sundance Kid,
shot and killed the Marshal.
