The final resting place of Annabelle Spencer is at the north side of Rose Hill Burial Park, at the northeast corner of the section and close to the north border fence. Hers is a horizontal marker with a large family monument nearby.

1914: Japan declares war on Germany.
1924: J. Edgar Hoover is appointed head of the Bureau of Investigation.
1934: A trial for the custody of ten year old Gloria Vanderbilt begins; it lasts seven weeks and ends with a compromise.
1944: The 16th Academy Awards ceremony is held, the first Oscar ceremony held at a large public venue, Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Casablanca (directed by Michael Curtiz), wins the Best Picture award.
1954: Brown v. Board of Education (347 US 483 1954): The U.S. Supreme Court rules unanimously that segregated schools are unconstitutional.
1964: The Beatles vault to the #1 spot on the U.S. singles charts for the first time, with "I Want to Hold Your Hand", forever changing the way popular music sounds to Americans, also starting the British Invasion in America.
1974: The Universal Product Code is scanned for the first time, to sell a package of Wrigley's chewing gum at the Marsh Supermarket in Troy, Ohio.
