STAR, at Vancouver Mall, WA - GPS Tracklog Art on Waymarking.com

Ornith and I attended a geocaching event this morning and after we left, we were going to look for some waymarks in the area. The first one we looked for was a store that had unfortunately closed, at Vancouver Mall. As we were headed back to the car, we were talking about other waymarks we "need" to do, and GPS Art became the next topic. And as we approached our car, we realized we had this great big, nearly empty parking lot, right in front of us. We could attempt to make our art here! Our first attempt was a failure. We tried to make a fern leaf. It looked like a scribble but not a fern. So we thought, and decided we could do a 5 point star. (I might add, at this point, the mall security parked in their truck and watched us as we plotted and walked our star...) And as you can see from our photos, the star turned out rather well!

Beyond that, there are no mandatory additional visit requirements, but you may want to try your hand at reproducing the design in the original Waymark. Go on ... why not? However, you can't log your copy of the original track as a new waymark ... for that you'd need to do it in a new location.
