Bewdley Square is the center of a Vellmar housing area that was developed in the 1990es. On the northwestern corner of the square there is a seating area with benches and this fountain. Water is turned off in winter for danger of frost, but it is an active fountain.

Der Bewdleyplatz ist der Mittelpunkt eines in den 1990er Jahren neu entstandenen Wohngebiets in Vellmar. An seiner Nordwestecke gibt es eine Sitzecke mit Bänken und diesem modernen Brunnen. Im Winter ist das Wasser wegen Frostgefahr abgestellt, es handelt sich aber um einen aktiven Brunnen.
