The Noel Hotel was built by John and Oscar Noel. The 12-story, 250-room hotel was designed by aMarr, Holman Architects in an Art Deco style. The hotel opened on January 6, 1930. It was considered a luxury hotel and was the location of many events over the years. The hotel closed September 30, 1972 after the building was purchased by the Hamilton Bank. The bank renovated the building converting for bank operations and offices.
