The Military Telephone Network (MTN) consisted of 6 Military Connection Centers (MKC) In Utrecht, Nieuw-Milligen, Arnhem, Eindhoven, Breda and Oegstgeest.

In 1976 a 100 meter high antenna mast was build next to the bunker. The mast was used for civil as well as military communication. It used the ASCON network (Automatic Switched Communications Network), the first completely automatic telephone system for the air force with unmanned stations. In 2002 the ASCON net was replaced by the Netherlands Armed Forces Integrated Network (NAFIN), a fiber optics network.
Era: Post WW II

General Comments:
Later the bunker was used by the PTT (KPN). The antenna mast was also used by the municipality of Oegstgeest for antennas for the CAI (Centrale Antenne Installatie) system.
