Ptuj
is the second biggest city in northern Slovenia It also shall be the oldest city of the whole country. It has about 24.000 inhabitants. On a hill in the city center you can find a nice castle and this very nice view point. You can park the car near the market and walk up through the old town and a nice starway.

Ptuj ist die zweitgrößte Stadt des nördlichen Slowenien und soll die älteste Stadt des ganzen Landes sein. Es hat etwa 24.000 Einwohner. Über der Stadt thront auf einem Berg das stattliche Schloss. Es ist von einer großen Schutzmauer umgeben die einen wunderbaren Ausblick bietet. Eine gute Parkmöglichkeit befindet sich in den Straßen nahe des Marktplatzes. Von dort kann man durch kleine Altstadtsträßchen und über eine Treppe hinauf zur Festungsanlage.
