Freedom Memorial Park opened in March of 1999. This marker probably pre-dates the park, but Freedom Memorial is dedicated to veterans and has war memorials for at least four conflicts. Also, The Airborne & Special Operations Museum is right across the street, so this is a very appropriate spot for a Blue Star Memorial marker.
This marker is right along Hay Street. No special landscaping here, just the park.
