When you are in the mood for Texas-style barbeque with a little “MO” flavor, drive straight to Woody’s Smokehouse. And while you are there, gas up your truck and pick up some groceries.
And their smoke is some of the best in southwest Missouri. Woody’s boasts two smoke pits to slow smoke their mouthwatering brisket, chicken, turkey, sausage, and fall-off-the-bone ribs. Your barbeque can be served dry or slathered in their own homemade Woody’s barbeque sauce.
Not that hungry? Don’t worry about wasting food. You can order your smoked meat of choice by the slice or by the bone. Bigger appetites can order by weight. Or, take advantage of one of their daily specials, such as a half-smoked chicken with a small side and drink or a half-rack of pork ribs with a small side and drink.
And, all of Woody’s smoked and hand carved meats can be made into a sandwich. And, don’t forget to save room for dessert.

Woody’s has a large open and airy dining room filled with lots of eye-candy memorabilia. Enjoy your smoked brisket in their sunroom on one of their varnished picnic tables. Every table is supplied with a selection of their homemade barbeque sauces and paper toweling.
Meals are ordered counter style and sides, such as homemade coleslaw and potato salads are available in a cool case. Woody’s features Jones and Stewart brand sodas by the bottle in the trough, or you can select from fountain Coke products.
