Stranden har i mange år været en af Nyborg Kommunes 5 blå flag strande, som udmærker sig ved god badevandskvalitet, gode faciliteter herunder handicapfaciliter.
Stranden betegnes af mange som kommunens bedste og mest foretrukne badested.
I højsæsonen juni – august etablerer Trygfonden et livredningtårn besat med to livreddere.
The beach has for many years been one of Nyborg Municipality 5 blue flag beaches, which are distinguished by good water quality, good facilities including handicapfaciliter.
During the high season from June to August establish TrygFonden a lifesaving tower occupied by two lifeguards.
