The clocks with white dials and black hands replaced older, by a fire damaged, Renaissance astronomical clocks during the town-hall reconstruction in the 19th century. Spacious buiding of the town hall, seat of the Sušice Municipal office, you can find in the principal public space of Sušice - Námestí Svobody ("Liberty Square") in the town's downtown.
