Unveiled on Tuesday 27th February 2013, this memorial commemorates the former WWII US Army Camps in Stourport-on-Severn. A waymarked walk starts at this memorial and visits 10 locations. In modern times this is a wild nature reserve but many remnants of the old facilities foundations can still be seen. Te four plaques illustrated cover the history of the site - US Army (Europe) Corps Headquarters (Dec 43 - Jun 44), United States General Hospitals 114 & 297 (Sep 44 - Jun 45), Resettlement (1945-60), later to become Burlish Top & Rifle Range Nature Reserves.
