Statue of Andrew Jackson on horse back. The horse is standing on his two hind feet with his front two raised in the air. He is wearing military uniform with a long coat and wearing a sword on his side. He is holding his hat in his hand. The bronze statue stands on a marble multi-tiered pith.

Andrew Jackson served as the seventh President of the United States. Prior to his presidency he was the commander of forces for the United Army at the Battle of New Orleans during the War of 1812.

On the base of the statue is a plaque inscribed:

Andrew Jackson
Born March 15, 1767
Died June 8, 1845
