The Meadow Trailhead is located in the Meadow Day Use Area of the Deschutes National Forest. This is the first trailhead on the Deschutes River south of Bend, Oregon and provides access to the Deschutes River Trail which will eventually extend south from Tumalo State Park through Bend to Sunriver. Most of the trail is complete south of here, but there are gaps north of here. Parking is available at trailhead.

Trail allowances or restrictions: Due to heavy use and repeated conflicts, dogs must be leashed in the Deschutes River corridor from May 1 through October 1.
Horses and bikes are prohibited on certain sections of the hiker trail.
