In Wellesley, at the corner of Mass. Route 16/Washington Street and Denton Street, is St. Andrew's Church.
The church is located on the south side of Route 16 and is east of Denton Road. It is about a half mile south of the intersection with Route 16 and Route 135.
The church is a stone structure that has several extensions. The main sanctuary is aligned along Denton Road and there is a tall stained glass window facing Washington Street. The steep roof over the sanctuary is bi-colored. The structure forms a C around a courtyard in the center.
The congregation is a large and active group. Outreach programs include: preparing meals for the Salvation Army and Rosie's Place, donating food to the Wellesley Food Bank and donating articles like men's socks and knitting goods, and various ministry opportunities abroad.
Along with the church, there is a parish office with the entrance from Denton Street, and the Montessori School, which has its entrance through courtyard.
