The American Episcopalians built this church on Boulevard Victor Hugo in 1886 in Nice, France.
In the 1970s, having learned of the Episcopal Church's decision to close its American Church in Nice, the church council of l’Eglise Réformée de Nice began to raise the funds necessary to purchase the Church "Holy Spirit" on Boulevard Victor Hugo.
In 1974, with the assistance of the city of Nice, the parish moved to Boulevard Victor Hugo a more central location close to downtown.
