Ernst Brune, born 1889, was a brewer, member of the Communist party and an opponent to the Nazi regime. He made unfavourable remarks about the Nazis and the war and was sent to Sachsenhausen concentration camp without any trial. He was killed there on May 25, 1940. A Stolperstein for him is placed in front of his home at 31 Am Sudholz.

Er äußerte sich kritisch gegenüber den Nationalsozialisten und dem Krieg und wurde ohne Prozess ins KZ Sachsenhausen deportiert, wo er am 25. Mai 1940 umgebracht wurde. Sein Stolperstein liegt vor seiner Wohnung Am Sudholz 31.
