There are two ways to approach this beacon, so you'll need to decide from which side to approach it, and be careful to not cross the international border unintentionally.
There are geocaches on Emlembe mountain which are reached from Bulembu Village in Swaziland, so we recommend the Swaziland route then you can do the geocaches at the same time. The nearby caches "Emlembe" and "Devil's Bridge" respectively describe the southern and northern approaches from Swaziland.
Expect quite a tough climb of about 500m vertical over about 2.5 kms (one way). Use liberal sunscreen, and take sufficient water for a 3-4 hour hike.
The approach from South Africa (not recommended) is via private property and must not be attempted without getting permission from the landowner. However, should you be able to obtain permission, then you might be able to get a lot closer with a 4x4, but you will not be able to hunt the mountain geocaches because they are in Swaziland.
I've uploaded my favourite Emlembe summit photo because I don't have a good photo of the beacon itself, but I'm sure that RedShift3 will upload a beacon pic - he's got a good one.
It's a standard beacon which appears to be complete and in good condition.
Altitude (m): 1863

Visit Instructions:We don't require you to provide any specific proof of your visit, but we do request that you upload photos if possible, the more the merrier.
Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
