There is no consistent signage to identify this trail, some maps list this area as Squaw Leap, signs on site identify the area as the Gorge. Trail markers say either Bridge Trail or Loop Trail. Alltrails.com and Everytrail.com and a few newer maps list it as Pa'san Ridge Trail. The primary directional sign identifies it as the Ya-Gub-Weh-Tuh Trailhead and Campground. Either way the loop is 7.5-8 mile trail located on the Madera County side of the San Joaquin River. The loop is approximately 1 mile from the trailhead which is on the Fresno County side of the river. The Squaw Leap name was apparently changed to show sensitivity to the Native American Community.

It is a nice Spring, Fall, or dry Winter trail. If doing this in Summer I would do it EARLY in the morning, it gets hot. We traveled in a counter-clockwise track as suggested in an online trail guide. If I was trail running or mountain biking I would travel clockwise due to the steep drop offs on the west side of the loop in the first few miles.
