At the corner of Peachtree Center Ave NE and Baker Street NE is the male lion of a pair of abstract lions sitting upon the black granite base forming the end of the stairway up to the Marguis Two Tower entrance. The street address for the Marquis Two Tower is 285 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The female lion of this pair of abstract lions is also resting upon the black granite at the south end of the same stairway into the same Marquis Two Tower building. These abstract figures of lions are created from roughly formed bronze shaped into a large feline/lion shape. On the tails of the lions are the sculptor's name and date created, along with the name and city of the founder that was used. The sculptor signed "O Strebelle 1987" in a script. The founder's name and city, De Andreis Milano, is printed following the 1987 date of the sculpture.
The lion shapes are 13 feet long, 5 feet high, and 6 feet across.
There is a matching set of these lions found in matching positions on the neighboring twin Marquis One Tower at the next intersection. That makes four Strebelle abstract lion sculptures in one block.
