These are the ruins of an old woolen mill near Glen Morris, ON. The building still has some of its character such as the water intake and outtake entrances and chimneys. The mill itself was built in 1867 by a German family. The mill was eventually closed and became a hotel for a time before it became a private residence. The mill was sold and abandoned in 1945 after the railway (now the rail trail) was built along side of the mill closing the road access.
