Die Grenze zwischen Tirol (Österreich) und Bayern (Deutschland) verläuft u.a. über den Gipfel des Spitzstein in den Chiemgauer Alpen. Dieser Grenzstein markiert die Gipfelgrenze. Der Stein enthält die Buchstaben "T" und "B" für Tirol und Bayern sowie die Jahreszahl "1844".
The border between Tyrol (Austria) and Bavaria (Germany) passes, among others, over the summit of the Spitzstein in the Chiemgau Alps. This border stone marks the border at the summit. The stone bears the letters "T" and "B" for Tyrol and Bavaria, and the year "1844".
