This Velodrome used to be a Motor Speedway, but in 1999, it was purchased and donated to the city to be used as a velodrome.
The track is 498m and is made of asphalt with 4-8 degree gentle banking. It is considered a training track. It is asymmetrical with each of the curves having a different radius and bank.
Races are run every Wednesday night during summer, alternating weekly between track bicycles and road bicycles.
