This is a penny smasher on the grounds of Sparrenburg castle, a medieval fortification on a hill overlooking the town and Bielefeld's most prominent landmark. You find the smasher close to the well, near the entrance of the lookout tower. The location is open from 9:00 - 22:00 hrs every day April to October and 10:00 - 20:00 hrs every day November to March. Access is free and the souvenir medal costs 1,00 € plus the 5 cent coin you want to have smashed. So be sure to bring your own coin.

Diese Souvenirmedaillenpresse steht auf dem Gelände der Sparrenburg, einer mittelalterlichen Befestigungsanlage oberhalb der Stadt, die Bielefelds bekanntestes Wahrzeichen ist. Der Automat steht in der Nähe des Brunnens, unweit des Eingangs zum Turm. Das Gelände ist von April bis Oktober täglich 9:00 - 22:00 h und von November bis März täglich 10:00 - 20:00 h geöffnet, der Eintritt ist kostenlos.
