The park office at Lake Shetek State Park contains a small gift shop. They sell firewood and ice. Horseshoes, volleyball equipment, and soccer equipment can be obtained from the park ranger in the warmer months. The park office rents rowboats, canoes, and kayaks. Visitors can also rent snowshoes from the park. Park maps are free. A public pay phone is out front.
Lake Shetek State Park is a demonstration park for the Minnesota State Parks' geocaching program. Visitors can borrow one of the park's GPS units at no cost.
