This is the main border crossing between Western Australia and South Australia, on the Eyre Hwy.

The border is in the middle of the nullarbor (treeless) plain. The nearest major centres are Norseman, 700 kms to the west, and Ceduna, 500kms to the east.
At the border there is a quarantine station for people travelling west, as you are not allowed to bring any fresh fruit or vegetables, plants, honey, seeds, animals, hides, parts of animals, boxes that have had fruit in them etc into WA.
On the SA side of the border there is a motel, restaurant and petrol station. Other than that there is a lot of sand and desert, and a highway.
