The final resting place of Ruby Ewing is at the southeast side of Rose Hill Burial Park, at the center of section 5. Hers is a flat marker with the following text:

1877: Crazy Horse and his warriors fight their last battle with the United States Cavalry in Montana.
1887: Chester Greenwood patents earmuffs.
1897: The Boston subway opens, becoming the first underground metro in North America.
1907: Robert Baden-Powell leads the first Scout camp on Brownsea Island, England.
1917: The Danish West Indies is sold to the United States for $25 million.
1927: Britain severs diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union due to revelations of espionage and underground agitation.
1937: The first successful flying car, Waldo Waterman's Aerobile, makes its initial flight.
1947: Multiple tornadoes strike Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas killing 181 people and injuring 970.
1957: The Boy In The Box was discovered along a sidewalk in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The boy was described of Caucasian appearance and 4 to 6 years old. The case still remains unsolved.
1967: Apollo 1: U.S. astronauts Gus Grissom, Edward Higgins White, and Roger Chaffee are killed when fire breaks out in their Apollo spacecraft during a launch pad test.
1979: Dan White receives a light sentence for killing San Francisco Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk, gay men in the city riot.
