Todd's Diner is a new diner in Gardner that is serving classic American comfort food. The entire menu is available when the diner is open - hours vary by day of the week. Tuesday night is a Ham and Bean Special. Friday night is a Spiced Shrimp Special. There is a good selection of breakfast items ranging from the usual egg dishes, to pancakes, French Toast, and waffles. The lunch and dinner menu had meatloaf, hamburgers, fried chicken and other sandwiches.

I had scrambled eggs with diced ham, fried potatoes, which were deep-fried like potato chips - different, but good, and wheat toast. The eggs were not cooked to death which sometimes can happen going out for scrambled eggs. My wife had a patty melt with a side of fried okra. Maybe a few too many onions on the burger, and rye bread instead of the marbled rye, but still a very good sandwich. She also had blackberry pie warmed up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Not a bad breakfast for her!

This used to be an old Mexican Restaurant and the stucco walls still have that feel to it, however, the owners have found old advertising signs to decorate the place, to give it that Midwest diner feel.
