These Vintage Gas Pumps are in front of what was once the Whipple Station at approximately 410 S Main Street in Ellensburg, Washington.

These pumps have been nicely restored but, unfortunately, the brand name has been removed. This style of pump was in use in the latter half of the 1950s and early part of the 1960s. The distinguishing features that help date these pumps are the height of the pump, the dial reset crank on the side of the pump, and the transparent bubble above the dial window that had a turbine inside that gave you a visual indication that gasoline was flowing. These bubbles had disappeared from new pumps after the middle 1960s.
