This red brick building was constructed in 1918 at a cost of $125,000. The first of its kind on the Iron Range, it contained curling and skating rinks but was used for roller skating, hockey, and public dances as well. Following World War II, the building became a manufacturing plant for Arrow shirts to provide job opportunities for women in the community; the factory closed in 1978, and Foam Tech furniture products then made use of the building. It is presently being used as a warehouse and indoor storage facility. It was place on the NRHP in 1980 and can be found on the corner of Garfield Street and Adams Avenue.
