This lovely piece is on a traffic island near a busy shopping center. It is hard to appreciate the beauty unless you get stopped by the traffic lights.

"Symbolizing Aurora’s namesake, this graceful sculpture by Denny Haskew depicts hope and the future while greeting the City Center visitors." (from (visit link) )

"Haskew’s artwork conveys his innermost being. It is intensely personal and honest. His themes are recurring: Spirit, Love, Forgiveness, Healing, Relationship, Endurance, the Sacredness of the Human Spirit, and the Strength in each of us, the Power of all that is Natural" (from (visit link) )

"Light hits the top of everything.
First the hills,
then the trees and the rooftops.
Then the cold within
ourselves,
can leave us now ...
It's today!
She has brought us dawn,
all we have
is right now." by Denny Haskew

You must park at a nearby shopping center (due east is best) and walk to the piece. Traffic is always heavy and unpredictable. Please be careful.
