This plaque commemorates the contribution of surplus funds from the community centenary celebrations which were used to develop the picnic and playground facilities at 'Nobarach Park', Gnowangerup Community Park.

The inscription on the plaque reads:

In October 2004 Gnowangerup town marked
100 years as a community. There was a
wonderful celebration of our history,
supported by past and current residents.
Funds surplus from those events have
contributed to this park.

Shirley Belck, President
Jenny Shepherdson, Secretary
2004 Gnowangerup Centenary Committee.

This park has to rate at least a 4.0 (out of 5), with an excellent playground featuring a good range of equipment types, lots of shade sales, a basketball half-court, ample seating for adults, two barbecues, two picnic tables, taps, bins, toilets and heaps of parking. 11 year old Ethan rated the playground the second best ever, after the Katanning All Ages Adventure Playground, and 12 year old Mikayla rated it third best but couldn't remember which playground was second best.
