You can see the addition to this building on the right side. The architect matched the features quite well.

I was unable to read the old ghost sign, but I did notice from the 1905 photo that there was no sign on the side of the building and that the adjacent building was three stories (it is now two stories!).

"Carter-Rice and Company constructed this building in 1903 to house its paper distribution firm. The building is one of the few remaining examples of Second Renaissance Revival architecture in Denver's central business district. It also typifies the small scale warehouse and commercial structures that dominated the lower downtown area after 1900." (from (visit link) )

The building has been renovated as office space. It features Exposed brick and timber office space and a Glass elevator. (from (visit link) )
