This Historical Marker is mounted in front of the residence at 1608 Mono Avenue in Minden, Nevada. It is Stop #27 on the Discover Minden Walking Tour. A brochure detailing all 48 stops of the tour is available from the Minden Chamber of Commerce.

Springmeyer House

Built in 1909 for rancher Ed Springmeyer, an early settler of the area. At one time a large barn stood behind the house. Later, the home was purchased by Stanley and Dorathea Springmeyer, it remained in the family until 1989.
