A mural by Friedel Deventer, showing a view of Florence, Kassel's Italian sister city since 1952. It is 200 m2 large, covering the whole side wall of house 2 Wehlheider Platz, and is an advertisement for the Kassel Savings Bank. The mural is made to look like a jigsaw puzzle with the sky part not yet finished. It was created in 1987 and renovated in 2009. Near the bottom it is signed "Deventer '87/'09".
Friedel Deventer (born 1947) is a German painter and founder of the Deventer Art Academy in Kassel. He created more than 120 large-scale murals all over Germany, with more than 50 of them in Kassel.

Dieses Wandbild von Friedel Deventer zeigt eine Stadtansicht von Florenz, Kassels italienischer Partnerstadt seit 1952. Es hat eine Fläche von 200 m2, nimmt die gesamte Seitenwand des Hauses Wehlheider Platz 2 ein und ist eine Auftragsarbeit für die Kasseler Sparkasse. Das Wandbild sieht aus wie ein Puzzlespiel das im oberen Bereich noch nicht ganz fertig ist, es wurde 1987 erstmals aufgetragen und 2009 renoviert. Am unteren Rand ist es mit "Deventer '87/'09" signiert.
Friedel Deventer (Jahrgang 1947) ist ein deutscher Kunstmaler und Gründer der Kunstakademie Deventer in Kassel. Er hat deutschlandweit mehr als 120 großformatige Wandbilder geschaffen, mehr als 50 davon allein in Kassel.
