Driving Southbound South of Red Bluff, CA I stopped in a rest area of Interstate 5 and discovered that a CORS station had been built on the property.

It's a typical NOAA CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) I discovered from the NOAA CORS map (http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/CORS_Map/) that it's PID is DN7393, but it's not listed in the geocaching.com listing of benchmarks. So, I listed it here.
