The first mention about Nalzovice manor is from 1364. The Nalzovice fort was founded by Vilém of Nalzovice probably in 1525. In the 15th cent, the fort was enlarged and newly fortified.
At the beginning of 17 century Nalzovice became the property of Jan Kryštof Koppl of Adlersberk. The originally fort was rebuilt approximately to today's chateau appearance. The small Baroque adaptations of the chateau were carried out at end of 18 century.
The building is closed to the public, because a medical institute is located there.
