The beacon is on top of Jambila mountain close to the fire tower. It's private property and it's unlikely that you'll be able to obtain permission to visit the tower and beacon because the foresters are very tight with access control (Nelshoogte Plantation).

The suggested viewpoint is a safe stopping place if travelling towards Badplaas. If you're travelling towards Barberton, you might want to go past, find a safe spot to make a u-turn, and come back to the viewpoint
Altitude (m): 1592

Beacon Type: Peak

Beacon Construction: Standard beacon

Visit Instructions:
We don't require you to provide any specific proof of your visit, but we do request that you upload photos if possible, the more the merrier.

Ideally, you should try to take photos at the actual beacon location, but if that isn't possible (private property, terrain, etc), then photos taken from a distance are also welcome, especially if the beacon is visible in the photo.
