Neveklov is small city in Central Bohemia. The first written mention of the village dates from 1285.
This town is interesting in that the last concert famous violinist Jan Kubelik (visit link) held in the city hall on 11th May 1940. The sundial on a column are located in front of this city hall.

During World War II, the city became part of the military training ground Waffen SS Benesov and its inhabitants had to evict 31st December 1943. On 10 October 2006 the village was returned to the status of the city.
