Though the newspaper's website has been under perpetual maintenance for years, the Sentinel continues to print daily. Not the best news but for a small town paper, it's not that bad IMHO. My family has subscribed for years. The interesting Egyptian flair to the building and masthead harkens back to Southern Illinois' nickname as Little Egypt.
